7.18.14 Jeremy + Sarah

A beautiful country setting provided the backdrop for this East Texas wedding.  The bride, Sarah, chose a combination of purple lisianthis, orange roses, hydrangeas, ranunculus, and mint succulents for her bouquet. The precious flower girls carried pomanders of green kermits. I love how the purple and green are such a great balance.  This wedding was filled with charm in every detail.

6.21.14 Andrew + Katie

Wow, this wedding was such a breath of fresh air! The bride, Katie had a great eye for details and I loved getting to work with her through the planning process. For the flowers and decor we went with an elegant, garden theme. Mint table linens, blush and white toned flowers, vintage china, and birdcages filled with flowers and greenery brought the whole look together. For the bridal bouquet, we used David Austin Garden roses, peonies, hydrangeas, and hypericum berries. Last but not least, the couple's photographer, Rebecca Jordan, did a lovely job capturing the special day. Be sure to check out her website for more of her beautiful work.

My best wishes to Katie and Andrew, a truly lovely couple inside and out!

5.17.14 Don + Brittney

Brittany and Don, what an amazing couple who have an incredible love for each other and for our country.  Both of them serve in our country's military and have sacrificed a great deal to fulfill their commitment.

The initial wedding planning started with Don, while he was in the states working on additional special training and Brittany was serving overseas.  We spent lots of time on the phone and email sharing ideas and plans.  Don is the most organized guy I know and had an amazing amount of patience and determination while working through lots of plans and decisions that the bride would normally make.  Brittany and I shared a lot of photos and ideas via the internet also...so thankful for technology!  She loved the idea of including vintage accents with a very elegant flair, so we composed an all white bouquet with peony, ranunculus, hydrangea, and David Austin Roses with a touch of pearls and crystal brooches. Also, in honor of Brittany's grandfather, we added a special photo to her bouquet. Lastly, touches of navy hues throughout the ceremony and reception were the perfect compliment to the groom and groomsman military uniforms.

I wish Don and Brittany the very best in their future together and God's protection as they serve our country.
