6.1.13 Aaron + Trish

It was a perfect day in June for this lovely wedding at Centaur Arabian Farms in Tyler, Texas.  Trish had selected blush and white tones for her and her bridesmaid bouquets which featured pale pink and white peonies and David Austin roses with a touch of hydrangeas and dusty miller foliage for a soft grey accent. Her style was romantic and vintage with a touch of rustic elements.  Photographer, Hailey Erickson did a beautiful job capturing the special moments which were featured on Style Me Pretty wedding blog.  Visit the press site to click on the link and see more photos.

10.12.13 Kevin + Krystle

What a pleasure it was to work with Krystal and Kevin to create this romantic and fun wedding! A beautiful, traditional ceremony, the wedding was held at Marvin Methodist Church in Tyler, Texas. The incredible stained glass windows and rich hues of carved wood throughout the church was a stunning backdrop to the soft pinks and whites chosen for the bouquets and altar arrangements. Krystal's bouquet featured a variety of garden roses in pinks, creams, and white.  Following the ceremony, the couple celebrated with their family and friends at The Hollytree Country Club where tables were set with pink sequin table cloths and sophisticated centerpieces made with roses, hydrangeas, alstroemeria, and accents of garden foliages. 10.14.12 Nathan + Charlene

This week's wedding venue brought us out to Longview, Texas to the beautiful Belgium House. Since Nathan and Charlene chose to have their ceremony outdoors beneath the gazebo, we focused our attention on making that area a focal point. Desiring a garden style feel, we put together a curtain of hanging arrangements and framed the gazebo with two large garden urn arrangements; we even added an extra touch of sparkle by attaching vintage crystals from the archway. Charcoal gray, soft pinks and white, Charlene's bridal bouquet featured garden roses, anemones, phalaenopsis orchids, and ranunculus. Alongside the lovely Belgium House gardens, the fresh flower arrangements and bouquets really added a sense of classic romance to Nathan and Charlene's special day.

Not only was her wedding day stunning but Charlene's photographer, Gema Blanton, did an amazing job with her bridal portraits.  When designing her portrait bouquet, Charlene gave me free reign and said..."Just have fun with it!  I'll love whatever you make." I used a variety of phalaenopsis orchids cut from my dad's greenhouse, peonies, and David Austin Garden Roses, which turned out beautifully against the estate background and vineyard.

Charlene's beautiful wedding portraits were featured on the Love Wed Bliss blog!

10.12.12 Tom + Debbie

A lovely backyard wedding for family and close friends, Tom and Debbie shared their vows and celebrated with their loved ones on a perfect fall afternoon.  Nestled amid the beautiful gardens, I accented the gazebos with twisting vines, sunflowers. roses, Gerbera daises, and lilies. I also added a vintage chandelier and crystals to bring an extra touch of elegance to the space.

The flowers we chose for Debbie's bouquet were a reflection of her sweet personality and the fall season; sunflowers, blue Scabiosa blooms, Billy Buttons, coxcomb and green Cymbidium orchids were the unique touches the bouquet needed, while the roses and hydrangeas unified the bouquet to the rest of the garden decor.

In addition, the center of the yard featured a beautiful swimming pool, which I chose to highlight with a unique floating arrangement.  (I'll have to admit that the water was a bit too cold for me to climb in and anchor the arrangement so my wonderful husband volunteered to take the dive.)  Cocktail tables set up for guests around the pool area were decorated with Cymbidium orchid arrangements and a few of my birch wrapped votive candles to tie with the garden scenery. With just the right amount of garden magic, this wedding celebration was absolute perfection.
